Day trip from Zadar to Plitvice Lakes National Park, Croatia. Spent the day wandering the paths around the many waterfalls, turquoise lakes and lush forests (nearly missing our bus back in the process). This was probably the most highly recommended thing we did the whole trip, and hopefully you can see why! 

An ode to the Sea Organ (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sea_organ) of Zadar. (Please read about it; it’s by far the best public art installation I’ve ever seen/felt/heard/experienced). Obviously impossible to capture in photos, but as you can see, we went back every night to see the sunsets and listen to the sea organ play the ocean’s music under our feet. 

The unique and truly delightful city of Split, Croatia. Little trips in and around the markets, old towns, and city parks. Listen to some Dalmatian folk music and drink a big jug of wine while you look at these photos.
