The US National Park system is the best. So many cool, varied, and often unreal landscapes are contained within it. Our favourite region is without question the Southwest. Utah and Arizona alone contain so much varied terrain, and a high concentration of National Parks, within a couple days drive of each other. They are simultaneously the most alien and the most familiar landscapes in America.
